VALVES ARE CRITICAL COMPONENTS OF THE ENGINE AND INSTALLATION SHOULD BE PERFORMED BY AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN.

INSTALL CORRECT VALVE AND VALVE SPRINGS DESIGNED TO WORK TOGETHER, PERFORMANCE CAMSHAFTS WITH LONGER DURATION AND HIGHER LIFTS SHOULD ALSO BE MATCHED TO AVOID EXCESSIVE WEAR OR DAMAGE. BEFORE INSTALLATION, VALVE STEMS SHOULD BE LUBRICATED WITH ENGINE OIL THEN INSERTED INTO THE VALVE GUIDES, TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE VALVE SEAL, TURN SLOWLY WHEN INSERTING.

VALVE SEATS ARE TO BE MACHINED TO SPECIFICATIONS TO ENSURE 100% VALVE TO SEAT CONTACT AT 45 DEGREES, CONTACT AREA SHOULD BE AT LEAST 1MM AND VALVE ALIGNMENT CHECKED DURING INSTALLATION. MACHINE THE VALVE SEAT IF THE VALVE SEAT UNEVENLY, VALVE SEAT MATERIAL WILL GET THINNER AFTER REPEATED MACHINING WHICH WILL REDUCE THE COOLING AND SHOULD BE REPLACED ACCORDINGLY.
